Acceptance
1.1 These Terms and Conditions are between Scawab (“the Consultancy”) and the Client. Please read carefully and accept these Terms of Service before using www.scawab.com. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the service.

1.2 Upon acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Client, the terms and conditions are irrevocable and can only be amended with the written consent of the Consultancy.

1.3 The Client undertakes to give the Consultancy at least three (3) days’ notice of any change in the Client’s name, address and/or any other change in the Client’s details.

Definitions
2.1 “Consultancy” shall mean Scawab its successors and assigns or any person acting on behalf of and with the authority of Scawab

2.2 “Client” shall mean an interested applicant that has expressed interest in and paid for the services offered and listed by the Consultancy.

2.3 “Fee” shall mean a percentage or monetary payment, which is payable by the Client to the Consultancy for the services in clause 3 of the terms of service.

2.4 “Services” shall mean all services supplied by Scawab to the Client whereby client.

Our Offerings.
3.1 Job Application and Placements
At Scawab, one of our primary services includes helping clients who want to work in Canada or USA get jobs. This starts with a review of the client’s resume to the Canada or USA standard. This process takes between 4-6 weeks.

*The client must be willing to accept the timeline stated by the consultancy as this service will be delivered according to the stipulated time given.

3.2 Scholarship Application
One of the consultancy’s services is the application for available scholarships on behalf of the client. This service is a standalone. We do not have guarantees for this. What we do is help you process the scholarship application, write a topnotch motivation letter for you and send. We do not offer refunds on this. This is a separate writing service offered by the Consultancy. We will give you quality service that’ll give you an edge over other applicants, but offer no guarantees. The application takes between 1-2 weeks while the processing is dependent on timelines set out by the awarding bodies.

*The timelines mentioned above are only estimates and may take longer than stipulated above. The client must be willing to accept this eventuality as this service will be delivered accordingly.

3.3 Salary Negotiation
After the client has acquired a job placement, the consultancy then negotiates on behalf of the client, a befitting and well-deserved salary and benefits packages and other bonuses available with the job role.

3.4 Relocation Services
The consultancy provides advisory services for the client’s smooth relocation to the USA or Canada. We provide transport from the airport on arrival in Canada or the USA, and provide affordable housing. We charge fees for these services.

3.5 Visa Services (optional)
The consultancy provides visa advisory services to help the client with the processing of the client’s employment visas and other documents necessary for the relocation.

*The consultancy will not be responsible for any fees needed for the client’s visa application or travel documents. 

The Visa service is optional, attracts a separate charge and we offer no guarantees. The decision to grant the visa lies with the embassy. Refunds will not be made in the event that the Visa is not granted.  

Fees and Payments
4.1 The consultancy charges a nominal fee of $100 for preliminary applications.

4.2 The fee covers our consultancy services which includes, career advisory, Job application and placement, relocation, amongst others.

4.3 Scawab accepts payments via Visa or Mastercard debit and credit cards in USD for its services. All online purchases are also governed by the terms and conditions of respective merchant service providers. Please review respective merchant service providers terms of service before entering any transaction.

4.4 The client (Cardholder) must retain a copy of the transaction records.

Refund policy
5.1 If within 48 hours of payment the client decides to not proceed with our service, the consultancy will gladly offer a full refund.

5.2 The consultancy will offer no refund after 48 hours as our team would have already begun work for the client.

Requirements
6.1 Our services are open to individuals whom are over 18 years of Age.

6.2 The consultancy does not discriminate on gender, race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs or disability.

6.3 The consultancy doesn’t provide services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.

Clients Responsibilities
7.1 The client is responsible for every cost incurred in their relocation to the USA or Canada. However in the case of accommodation, the Consultancy will charge a fee as specified. Visa and flight tickets cost however are the responsibilities of the Client. The consultancy will only provide optional advisory services for them on the request of the Client.

7.2 The client will be responsible for all costs incurred for their flight to the USA or Canada.

Confidentiality
8.1 All information forwarded by the Consultancy from the Client, to potential employers (companies) and schools shall be considered to be strictly private and confidential between the parties involved and cannot be forwarded to any other party unless formal written permission is given, in advance, by the Consultancy.

8.2 Should these conditions be breached by the Client the Consultancy reserves the right to charge the Client a penalty Fee equivalent to the value of the original Fee charged the Client.

Disclaimer
9.1 Any information retained from the client is therefore based on details supplied to the Consultancy and is correct to the best of the Consultancy’s knowledge. The Consultancy accepts no responsibility whatsoever for errors, omissions or incorrect conclusions. In a case where the client has provided false information, the consultancy has a right to terminate the contract with no refund made to the client.

9.2 The Consultancy cannot accept responsibility for any loss or expense incurred due to the Client’s lack of familiarity with any relevant legislation regarding employment of Candidates in the USA or Canada, admissions in USA or Canada, or as a result of any infringement.

Applicable law
10.1 The laws of the United States of America (USA), Canada and Nigeria shall govern the use of the site and the terms of use.

Links and search results
11.1 The Site may automatically produce search results that reference and/or link to third party sites throughout the World Wide Web. The consultancy has no control over these sites or the content within them. The consultancy does not guarantee, represent or warrant that the content contained in the sites is accurate, legal and/or inoffensive. The Consultancy does not endorse the content of any third party site, nor does it make any representation or warranty about these sites, including that they will not contain viruses or otherwise impact your computer. By using the Site to search for or link to another site, you agree and understand that you may not make any claim against Scawab for any damages or losses, whatsoever, resulting from your use of the Site to obtain search results or to link to another site.
